week #6 update -1lb

...just a pound this week but it's better to go slow and steady rather than gaining so I'm still happy! Also this week is TOM so I am usually bloated and eating too much but I still managed to see the scale go down and that is great!
This week I will attempt to get out more and walk everyday. Hopefully the weather cooperates. Today I'm taking the little one to the park and running a few local errands.
What I need to work on:
I only worked out once last week. I need to up this to at least 3. Got to sweat!
What I did right this week:
I gave away the pesky chocolate covered pecans to my skinny mom! LOL
Cut back on snacking and avoided bread for the most part. I substituted with Ezekiel bread which I can hardly notice the difference to be honest!
Also, I tried the brown rice tortillas for taco night and they were pretty good.
My hubby and I had a date night this week and went to Olive garden. There, I chose the wheat pasta over regular pasta! That was a good choice for me. We also shared a small dessert.
I had water with my meal. I've been drinking a lot of water by the way!
So basically this week I made small changes but they actually paid off and they didn't feel like sacrifices. It was totally fine and doable. I am so glad I lost some weight and didn't gain or stay the same. Although my weight loss is going slowly at least I'm doing it and making changes in my way of living which I hope and believe they will stick forever!
