In loving memory...

Monday, April 07, 2014

Rarely a day goes by that I don't think of you and all the joy you brought to our family with your gentle spirit and genuine love for others! You taught me so much about not judging others, but instead accepting and loving them just as they are; I'm reminded of your great love of nature every time I look at the photos of you taken through the years and I continue to carry your love of music with me each and every day. I love and miss you more than words can ever express, Kenny Kale, McKenzie, Jr. It's hard to believe you passed away six years ago today as your memory is so alive in my heart and in our home! Love and miss you, Scooter!!!

(My nephew passed away six years ago at the age of 28- gone too soon, but never forgotten by all who knew and loved him.)

Your Kenny was not only a blessing to you, he was blessed to have touched lives with you during his time on planet Earth.

Interestingly enough --- just last night ,while drifting off into Dreamland, I suddenly came to the realization that my own dear brother had passed into the very presense of our Creator God a full thirty-eight years ago. He was just twenty-nine years old at the time. The pain of his leaving us is just as raw as if he left only yesterday. Still, I know he made a decision for Christ while on this side of the grave & that has given me such comfort & peace --- I will see him again when I pass over.

God bless all who loved & cared for Kenny & my beloved brother!
