4/5/14 Bloodsugars and another dinner out

Tonight we went to a Chinese Restaurant and ordered chicken and green beans and beef with black bean sauce, peppers, mushrooms and onion. We skipped the white rice. To my surprise the blood sugar impact from the sugar in the sauce was very modest about 2 hours afterwards.
I did exercise a little more today, incl. walking/jogging and also some push-ups.
Overall a good day.

9:00 pm 104

average blood sugar: 94
high blood sugar: 104
low blood sugar: 82

    I'm not too surprised. It seems, in my case, anyway, that very small bursts of sugar (like my favorite peanut M&M's - one piece only) blow through my system with barely a blip. Tiny amounts like that probably give my body a break from having to break down protein into glucose for immediate use. Just my theory, of course.
