April 4, 2014 - LifeStyle Changes & Surgery

Friday, April 04, 2014

Wow, been awhile since I have been able to get on here. I am using my husband's computer so I can get online. I went through some testing and found out that I had Gall Stones. I found out I had a hiatus hernia. I wanted gastric by-pass and surgeon was leaning on me getting the sleeve.

My heart was strong enough and after extensively reviewing my records, he agreed, my best recourse will be gastric bypass. He removed my gallbladder, repaired hernia, removed scar tissue, and did the gastric bypass. I went into hospital two weeks ago as of Wed. I have lost 14 pounds since surgery. I am sore still. I am doing very well.

I am so glad to have the issues fixed because now I can breath better and move better. My CHF bothers me some. I am moving forward each day. I am hoping my scale is good to me tomorrow and shows me down.
