Oh my goodness gracious!!!!
I didn't really plan well for today's liquid fast, but it's beginning to become a CHEF's Masterpiece.
I made Ginger Miso Soup with free range, organic chicken broth, fresh Red Miso, fresh ginger root, garlic cloves, fresh parsley and dill leaves, and I sauteed the baby portabella & white cap mushrooms I dried in a sunny window to get the Vitamin D out of them in 1 tablespoon organic coconut oil.
Then I combined all ingredients and brought to a boil, and simmered 5 minutes. I added red cayenne pepper and sipped it for a long while until all finished. I decided not to eat the vegetables as their flavors did the job. I want to keep this fast as liquid as possible for Monday's colonoscopy.
Simple ingredients that are so healthy for you.
To top off this DELICIOUS YUMMY soup, I had the homemade grape gelatin topped with some cooked fresh raspberries and homemade yogurt made with 20 billion parts probiotics. OKAY NO MORE RED OR PURPLE food items until after the procedure.
The green tea is delicious. It's a dreary, bitterly damp & chilly day on Long Island. I'm taking care of myself. Warm slippers, thick fleece bathrobe.
I've just boiled some more raw organic shea butter that I bought from Ghana, West Africa to nourish my dry skin and give myself a massage later on.
