So Angry

So I am all ready to go to the doctor to have a physical and talk to her about some things that are going on, only to get there and the receptionist tells me that I am not longer eligible for my insurance ( state provided). I am so upset you would think that the state would send me a letter telling me that I am not longer eligible. So after an hour on the phone with a man that had an accent so thick that I couldn't really understand him I found out that my husband and I are no longer eligible, but the kids are, which is great. The thing that really gets my goat is that a month and a half ago I went to the doctor for a sinus infection and used the same insurance. So I don't know what changed between now and then, but it sure wasn't my income. Still just my husband working and he even changed jobs and took a 3.50 pay cut. ( the new job gives him 40 a week). During this conversation the man on the phone said to me, well I guess you have to pay put of pocket. emoticon Yes folks that's right. So for now I have to wait. One good thing is that the doctor told me that the cost of a physical is 150.00, and that when I had the money to give them a call.

Thanks for listing to my rant. The state got ta love it. emoticon
