Run Baby Run

Today was awesome for me. I got to the gym in very high spirit. I ran 1 mile in less 13 min, that is 1 min less than the last 1 mile run I did (kudos to my trainer at the gym, he was so encouraging and to motivate me, he started running with me). I feel so proud of myself right now and I know it can only be better.
Did resistance training and a few weights. It was a terrific day for me.
To make my day, the trainer told me there are many of his clients that are always encouraged and motivated by my body, fitness and zeal. Since I don't relate so well at the gym (I keep minding my business) I seem not to give so much chance for comments but today I felt so proud hearing that from my trainer.
Can we call that Non-Scale Victory? Yay!
Yoga is getting to me on a daily basis now. I am a Christian, so meditating while in my poses feel so good and relaxing. For example, I recite "The Lord's Prayer" whenever I am on a Mountain Pose, I hope I am not breaking the rules that way, lol.
