April Plans!

Thursday, April 03, 2014

OMG, WHERE did the first quarter of the year go??

I haven't made any forward progress, BUT: I've stabilized at 137-138. I'm still exercising a lot but as usual, my eating has been inconsistent which is why I haven't lost any more.

Isn't it true that we have to keep things fresh on our journey, that we need to find ways to continually motivate ourselves? So to shake things up I rejoined Weight Watchers tonight!

Fully-dressed and after drinking all my water and eating all day I weighed in at 141. Since I became a lifetime member in 1977 (yes, really), all I have to do is get down to 137 on the WW scale and I'all be able to attend meetings for free. Yippee!

I'm kind of excited about it. I would like to lose another 10 pounds or so and think the accountability of weighing in every week will be a good motivator to be more strict with what I eat.

I'll let you know how it goes!!

My weight has stabilized around 133-134. Given my current job requirements, I'm unwilling to shake up my routine right now. I'm right in the middle of "normal" according to BMI and insurance company charts. I feel pretty fit and healthy. It's nice not to be chasing a number on the scale or particular size. It's good to have a lifestyle that allows me to maintain this. I've got plenty of plans and goals, but none of them are attached to losing weight right now.

We all need motivators to get moving again on our health journeys. I think WW is an excellent idea and will give you a new boost!

The accountability is great! Have a great Spring reboot.

Please let us know how it works for you. I had been thinking about it but really couldn't decide if it would be a plus or if it wouldn't make much difference.

WTG on being stable. Shaking things up is great, too.

Sounds great! Wow...I graduated high school in 77. Got married in 77. My favorite year!

I hadn't thought about it being a quarter of the year passing by already! Wow!

Have fun in WW! Without all the day's food and water plus shoes and clothes, you probably already qualify for free!

I hover around 138-139. I have to keep challenging myself to keep maintaining.

Congratulations on your accomplishments. Good luck with WW!
