ahhhh it finally feels like the right time

Thursday, April 03, 2014

Its late and I took a long needed nap after work today. I wanted to make sure and blog about how things are going so far. Thats one of my goals, to try and blog every day. Yesterday and today went very well! I drank water all day, which is a big accomplishment for me!! YAY!! And I did well with my cravings! I think I can really do this!!!
Its been kind of an edgy day for me. Its my ex boyfriend's birthday and I am trying so hard to not talk to him or see him. It was a VERY bad relationship that really broke me down and ripped away my self esteem. I am so proud of myself. Even as bad as it was, I still have such a hard time not talking to him... But everyday I get a little bit stronger...
Things are finally looking up!!! I know I can do this!

    I wanted to say welcome to the Living with RAD Team and that I am happy you are here on this journey with the rest of us and no longer going it alone. Please know that we are a wonderful group of people who are all forging our path through life with RA and helping each other as we learn new and useful information, as well as just supporting each other as we try to manage pain and keep the weight off!

So welcome and enjoy! If you have questions, you can always reach out and send a SparkMail, or stop by my SparkPage at the link below. We can do this together, with encouragement and support from others, and SparkPeople has really great resources for any kind of workout or condition.

Keep moving forward and fight the good fight! Oh FYI, your team leaders ROCK! And so do you! &gr;em&lr;334&gr;/em&lr;

    I am still recovering from an awful relationship that ended when I was 20 (over 12 years ago!)...You never forget, but you find the lessons that it teaches you and incorporate them into the new stronger person you become. Keep moving forward with love and tenderness towards yourself and you will one day find it is just simply a fact of your past as opposed to a raw emotional wound. If you need to talk or vent or bitch or celebrate or anything feel free to drop me a message emoticon

You are a fabulous woman! Remember and celebrate that today instead!!

    Proud of you for getting the water in, as that is very important.
Look ahead and not behind. Rise up and push past things that can hold you down.
Keep up the good work, and will be looking for to see how it is all going. Hugs.
