Had a pretty rotten afternoon/evening. Daughter and I got in an argument, then Husband and I did (because I told him I spend all day busting my ass and I don't usually feel like people really appreciate it. He got furious and began slamming things). I had a good cry, went to the library where I curled up in a big chair and read a magazine. Then I checked out several magazines and the book they had on hold for me: Jillian Michaels' Master Your Metabolism. I came home, got in bed, and had another good cry. Daughter came in, crawled in bed with me and apologized. I did, too. We talked and both felt much better. Husband came in at one point and sort of apologized. He is still in the other bedroom, though, so I don't know how "sorry" he is. Daughter and I are curled up in my bed watching Paul Blart. We both needed a good laugh. I made myself a cup of hot tea and made Daughter some hot apple cider. Figured I should hop on here and jot down what I need to for today.
Breakfast: scrambled eggs with reduced fat cheddar and salsa, spicy V-8 juice.
Lunch: spinach salad (spinach, bacon bits, green onions, black olives, ranch dressing), baby carrots with ranch dressing, 100 calorie pack of dry-roasted almonds, cube of cheddar cheese.
Snacks: apple, string cheese, skim milk.
Dinner: taco salad (seasoned ground turkey & pinto beans, mixed lettuce, green onions, light sour cream, salsa), lime La Croix.
Activity: 40 minute walk, mixed terrain, at the riverwalk.
Made plans to meet up with SIL for our weight loss meeting on Tuesday. Looking forward to our meeting.
