I know I've been hit and miss on this site. Work and life tend to get in my way far too often.
But I've just signed up for a dietbet - loose 4% of your body weight in 4 weeks to spit the pot.
This morning, the pot is over $200,000.
I weighed in yesterday at 236.8lbs. I had an awesome day yesterday - just under 2 hours of fitness, I had a 1,000 calorie deficit.
I weighed in this morning to help me stay on track. The scale is already down 2.4lbs. That's 1% for me. That's the number I was striving to reach by next Sunday. I know at this point that is mainly water loss, but I'm going to keep on track and keep pushing that number forward. In all honesty, I was hoping to have an awesome first week with a larger loss than my 1%. So far I'm on track for that.
As long as I can keep ahead of my weight loss schedule to reach my 4% in 4 weeks, I KNOW I can do this.
- eat more freggies
- drink lots of water
- Spin class - I signed up for my first spin class this morning. They run twice a week for the next month. Should be awesome for cross training with my running, as long as I can still walk the next day. lol
- soaking in the pool/hot tub after spin class. I'm hoping this will help with the muscle aches I am expecting to follow spin class.
- I also want to get in one more physical activity this day. My options include Jillian Michaels 30 day Shred, or simply getting on my elliptical while I watch my recorded shows this afternoon. Either one will work.
Time for me to get offline and eat a healthy breakfast. Get ready for spin class.
