I weighed in at 106.1 kg and was a big adjustment to a new way of eating and exercising, the program asked that you eat 1200 calories and do a 45 minutes session of exercises a day. Cardio: Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday; toning: Tuesday and Thursday. I am still walking, but the exercise videos were a bit tough to start, as I have weak knees, and over 100kg getting up and down off the floor in a fast pace was really a challenge, the first day I gave up frustrated at myself for being weak, but not one to give up the next day I gave it another try, I managed to find a way of getting up and down off the floor with a lot less time and effort, so by Wednesday it had become easier to do the videos, Michelle also said to do it at you own pace and take a break when you have to. After two days it was weigh in again, but I think only because Wednesday is their weigh in day. Stepping on the scales I discovered to my amazement and disbelief that I had dropped to 101.6 that was a huge lose of 4.7kg, did not believe it so stepped on the scales on Thursday weight the same, but I knew it would not last because on Friday my weight had risen to 103.4kg, I know that stepping on the scales everyday is not a good thing to do but it does keep me accountable for the food I eat and stops me from over eating. the diet regime is 1200 calories and because I am out of work I am utilizing the plans to what I already buy at the grocery store each week. So as long as I keep it to 1200 calories a day it is OK, that is why I use SP as my calorie counter. So while I persevered with the exercise regime I still found that I could only manage half of the video, so this week has sort of been a trial week, getting used to the programme. Out of the week I only really had one bad day, Saturday, my other half and I had an argument which caused me to not be able to sleep until 2.30am in the morning, and so it was to the fridge to see what I could eat, I could not sleep so I might as well do something, anyway, because I had not bought any chocolate or biscuits they was not much in the way of sweet goodies, so I just had a couple of slices of raisin bread without butter. This bread had been in the fridge for a few days and as I love raisin bread I thought it was really good of me to not eat it.
Weight 103.2kg, a good result for a week I think. This morning I went for my walk and then came back and completed the 45 minutes work out of Michelle's adjusting the exercises to my own capabilities, I know it will get easier as I get fitter.
