summer 2014: promise

Sunday, March 30, 2014

This spring/summer, I will:
-workout before work (jog to end of road and back-or further!, bike up hill/hike to tower, insanity)
-workout after work if need be (I'm thinking weights after work)
-for breakfast, have a green smoothie and lean protein (eggs, Greek yogurt, oatmeal) to start the day off strong!
-keep myself inspired by checking out before and after fat loss and other weight loss blogs on the daily
-continue reading Beck Diet Solution until complete
-keep my daily calories in the 1300-1500 range (1500 if worked out hard, less if more moderate)
-devote myself to consistent, fat-burning workouts! (your lack of commitment to this has been a large part of the reason why you haven't been successful in the past-that and bingeing/impatience. so get that vigorous exercise atleast 4xweek, and you'll be set.)
-pick myself up and get back into it right away if I slip up one day (never continue eating nastily the rest of the day because of one, or a few, dumb food choices)
-log calories/exercise on Sparkpeople. This is by far the best resource for weight loss; it's got everything you need right at your fingertips FOR FREE! So take advantage of it!
-not get discouraged if my weight stagnates, or goes up, for a little while, because I'll know I'm doing everything in my power to get to 120, even if the number on the scale doesn't reflect that one week. I'm trucking along and nothing can stop me.
This is a journey, Rae. It's not gonna be a cakewalk, but it is going to be a lot of fun, insanely rewarding, and will most definitely change your life for the better, in a million different ways, if you stick with it. Never before have you had this much motivation, positive energy, and belief in yourself. SO GO GET IT!
