Truly not a great excuse, actually not an excuse at all, but I did enjoy my birthday and I own what I did. Yes, I screwed up by not eating better foods (mistake number 1), and slacking off on tracking (mistake number 2). So in two weeks, I put two pounds back on. I am disappointed, yet not surprised. I can't keep the weight off if I am not paying attention to what I am eating. Honestly, I didn't pay attention - my bad.
Unfortunately, I have one more "birthday" luncheon to get through this week. BUT, the fortunate thing is I am tracking again and I have healthy foods in the house to counter this luncheon. I got lazy, and I disregarded my goal - to eat better, get healthy, and lose weight.
Please note how I list this. Yes, I want to lose weight, but the most important thing to me at this point in my life is to eat better and get healthy. I'm not sick or anything, but, I'm not at my best.
Next week when I blog, I hope, that's the wrong word, I WILL let you know how I am back on track!
