Penne with Sausage and roasted pepper sauce
(has a little kick)
Cook 2 cups of penne or other tube shaped pasta
Brown 1 lb. turkey sausage and drain.
Add 1 - 1/4 cups of spaghetti sauce(I used margherita) and 1/2 cup of diced bottled roasted red peppers. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes or until slightly thick.
Remove from heat and add 3/4 teaspoon of sugar and an1/8 teaspoon of salt.
4 servings (about 1 cup pasta and 1/2 cup sauce) I served with a salad and for dessert a fresh fruit cup.
