Our next 5% challenge starts soon, so we are prepping for it by blogging our motivations. The question was asked, why do I want to lose weight? The answer to that is simple and yet not so simple because I want to lose for my health. The not so simple part is my health affects so much of my well-being. I do not like knowing that my actions caused me to be this way, and yet logic demands it. So I want to change my actions and therefore the weight. In doing so, my self-image will improve, as well as my outlook on life and those around me. Not only will I be able to get into smaller sized clothes, but I will also have greater energy to get things done I have had to put off because I just didn't feel like it. I guess to boil it all down, I want to be a better person and my weight loss will help me with that.
