Day 917... more snow

I was hoping the forecast was wrong and the snow would pass us by, but no luck. It is snowing heavily. A couple inches accumulation already, with another 4-6 inches expected. Sigh. I am so ready for Spring to really get here. I saw snowdrops peeking out on our walk this morning, before the weather turned. That is a good sign, but this snow can just go away.
Still practicing restraint with my mileage on my walks. I think my left foot is improving, as it is only a dull ache today. Did a little ST with the dumbbells, plus yoga and half an hour on the rower. I feel like I am being lazy, even though I know I do more than a lot of people it is still a lot less than what I was doing. Feels weird and I am getting anxious and restless. I miss those 3-4 hour walks in the afternoon. I am getting in a lot of reading though, which is nice.
Lunch was good today. Much lighter than last week's effort. We had baked swai, stir fried vegetables, beets and lemon pound cake with strawberry applesauce for dessert. I really like the combination of the pound cake and applesauce. Very tasty.
Tomorrow looks like it will be just another day in the life. I am still working on making arrangements for our trip this summer. I bought the train tickets yesterday (Toronto to Vancouver), and just have three bus tickets to buy, and we will be pretty much set to go. I am really looking forward to this trip. Day 1,000 of my fitness streak should fall on the day before our departure if I did the math correct. That will be an exciting day with the streak at goal and the anticipation of the trip!
