For the last three or four years I've set the same goal for myself and I have yet to reach it...lol! That goal is to give myself the best gift ever for my birthday - REACHING MY GOAL WEIGHT or getting within a few pounds of it! Sooooooo once again this year I am setting that same goal but this time I am a lot more determined! My 53rd Birthday is August 24th and by that day I am going to be close to my 150 pound goal. I do really well at maintaining my weight but the weight I am maintaining is not where I want or need to be! I have everything I need to accomplish my personal goal, the knowledge, the tools, the determination and the time! So today I am leaving MAINTAINING my weight behind and moving into the zone of LOOSING weight. Today begins my 53rd BIRTHDAY WEIGHT LOSS CHALLENGE!!!
Now on another note - I enjoy working out at home, I'm totally not a Gym girl. I've had many Gym Memberships and I never went consistently. For me it was just too much work to drive somewhere to work out and then drive home. It took me a long time to finally admit that the gym just wasn't my thing. I enjoyed the Zumba Classes and the Aqua Fit Classes when I went but that wasn't enough to make me want to drive somewhere to work out. Over the years I have built a pretty big Fitness Video Library (about 300 DVDS) and I've bought Cardio euipment/Weights/Bands/Stabilt
y Balls, etc and created a gym in my house. I love being able to just go upstairs, pop in a DVD or jump on the Treadmill/Elliptical, watch a movie or my fav show while I work up a sweat. My question for you is what is your favorite way to get your workout in?
