They left at about 4:30 AM this morning. Of course there were tears (from me, Karry, and Malia), but there always are. I hated to see them go and wished they didn't have such a long trip back home. Malia was saying last night she wanted to stay with Grandma and Grandpa (good thing Grandpa was already in bed asleep!). I heard from Karry about 1:30 and they were north of Sacramento. That was about 8-9 hrs from Hillsboro, so they still had a long ways to go. I miss them!
I'm saying a Prayer they have a safe trip home.
Hubby apologized...sorta...this morning for being grumpy. When it came time for them to leave this morning he picked up Malia and gave her a huge hugs and told her he loved her. I was happy to see that. We'll see how he handles 3 kids under 5 (Cami and the twins) when we go to Hawaii.
Before they left, Malia made me a hat. She also made a small one for grandpa..but his he needs tape for him to wear (as in it needs to be taped to his forehead!
). Mine says "I
Yoou Grama Malia from". Here's a picture of it (she made it all by herself).
Since hubby has to work late tonight and past of Sat and Sun, I'll be able to get the house back in order. Karry did a great job of helping me keep thing neat, but I do need to vacuum. Malia's pillow sprung a leak and I have bits of stuffing all over the living room.
. I also need to go strip the beds in the trailer (where the boys slept) and sweep out there.
As for eating and working out...I've done pretty good with the eating, my weight has stayed pretty much the same as before the kids came (which really surprised me!), and working out will start again next week.
OH...we did get our new cell phones per-ordered at Best Buy. They did have a better deal then the Sprint store. We put $25 down on each phone and got $50 in Best Buy gift cards. So on April 11, hubby will pick them up. And we'll use the gift cards to go toward his sister's new cell phone. I'm still debating getting the Galaxy gear Fit. It's $199 and I'm thinking that's just two high of a price, esp since I do have my FitBit. But we'll see how things shake out later in the year.
Had IT come to my cube at work and fix my work PC. It was locking up and blue screening. The guy updated my video card drivers but when he tried to update my PC hardware drivers, it crashed (it was doing it remotely). So he ended up having to come to my cube and give me a new video card.
All is working well now!
SO I think that will do it for me on this TGIF!! Have a great weekend!
