OOOOh what a mess. Yep just when you think you're on track, you're really off.
Okay I get in my 45-50 grams of fiber, eating losts of veggies and fruit. Fish 3-4 days a week, meat 1x, yams 3x's. I should be 10 pounds lighter RIGHT? Heck no! All I did was maintain my weight. But, lost inches. Now that's okay for maintaining...but How do I lose? I went over my diet with my doctor. I have a journal (thank you Sparkpeople)
This is what he said:
You need to add starchy vegetables. Use more oilve oil 3-4 TABLESPOONS PER DAY!!!???
Eat egg whites 3-4 times a week for more protein. Add xtra virgin first cold press olive oil on all foods. Eat a nut butter with your fruits. Eat 10-15 grapes, 2 apples, 1 pear and 2 oranges everyday! Cut your fish portions to 4 ounces 4-5 times a week. No beef. Bison, venison, lamb or pork loin
Does this sound reasonable?
