This week to say the least has been horrible health wise. I haven't been to the gym at all this week. I've eaten out every single day and my stomach is in an uproar. We finally went grocery shopping yesterday, we had barely anything in the apartment, which was why I ate out. I had nothing to make for lunch, breakfast, snack, or dinner. Just odd and end things that weren't going to derail my hunger nor were they all that great of choices. However, the damage for the week has already been done. I feel like utter crap. I didn't even go to work yesterday and I think it was a good move for me to have told my manager about my IBS issues because when I forced myself to come in today she immediately asked if my stomach was any better. She's seen my flares when I've been here so I think she knows when I say my stomach hurts, I'm not kidding. Also, I consider myself lucky that she's very understanding.
Sitting here at my desk eating a lower sugar oatmeal that I found. The original has about 14g of sugar, this has only 4g so that was a score. I bought some frozen fruit, plain non fat yogurt and granola. I was going to try some home made parfaits. Also planning on trying some smoothies. So this weekend should be a lot better. Also got some things in mind that I want to try and cook this weekend for next weeks lunch and dinners, now if only my stomach would cooperate and let me stand for more that 15 minutes without breaking me into a cold sweat and making me want to crawl into the fetal position.
So hopefully after this weekend of eating better and meal prepping I won't feel so bad anymore and I can get back on track.
