I have been pushing pretty hard for most of this month and it has caught up with me. So, I took a second rest day today. My feet are quite unhappy with me, and my back tightens up around mile 5 when I am walking. I was thinking about shooting for 500 miles in March, but common sense has reasserted itself... I should still make 400 miles, but I won't stress my body by trying for 500. My only concern is that I might lose momentum. Inertia is a powerful force.
Still, I walked over 5 miles today and did some crazy dancing and a little yoga. Got some grocery shopping done. Mostly fresh fruits and vegetables, with a little cheese thrown in to round things out. I am still working on that pantry clear out... and that pot of bean soup. I did freeze about half the pot, but that still left half a pot of soup to eat.
I am thinking I might take another rest day tomorrow, just to give my feet a chance to recover. Then in the evening I am taking my mom to two events. Neither one excites me, but she really wants to go, so I will gladly drive her. I figure she drove me a lot of places when I was little, so...
