oddly enough I thought this was going to be a good day (at least it seemed to start OUT that way) went and got to work right away on a sort of challenging task as it was a vehicle I had not worked on before and also had equipment in it that I was never trained on (the only person in the shop who wasn't thanks to a "management" decision) Oh well grit my teeth and pitter patter lets get at her. I thought I was doing OK and then I got my annual evaluation (it was OK but I don't like them ) of course they had to change things on them just to frustrate the employees or so it feels. Of course its like a fellow I worked with at CNCP used to say " the $h!T flows DOWNhill but it never flows back up" (sadly enough our collective agreement seemed to be written MORE for the company's BENEFIT than for OURS). I also had written up a letter for my ongoing battle with that university ( my boss had PROMISED to help me with a letter of his own) of course now he changed his story. Typical, No wonder I was SO tired of working there that I was seriously considering signing up for the French Foreign Legion when I was on sick leave in February, I am so tired of working there. It makes a LOT of my old employers looks like saints.

i have been debating a lot at work too. they keep outsourcing and i spend time cleaning up their mess. I'd like to spend more time training technical issues instead of bs procedures of the week to cover up for other idiots. i keep thinking about going somewhere else but there are not a lot of employers left in my area.

i either have to get moticated to deal with the negatives or to look for other options.

Most of my job were like that - they would suck the life right out of a person. You know it's bad when no one enjoys working at a place and no one liked working at the place I worked at for almost 10 years.
