1,2,3 more pounds gone baby! My fight song for the week- Keith Urban "You Gonna Fly"

So I'm 6/10, only 4 more pounds to go until I've hit my first 10lbs lost in a long time. I figure if I can lose 100 pounds by focusing on 10 at a time, I should be able to kick this last chunk out the same way. Hopefully this long running plateau is gone. Or maybe the scale figured out I just might take a baseball bat to it if I kept seeing the same numbers. ;)

As far as weight loss rewards go, I love to score deals and save money but really don't like to shop. I plan through my shopping trips and if it's on sale, it better be what I actually need. For example, I need a pair of wedges- I own maybe 4 pairs of shoes total. Actual dress up shoes are at zero since I tossed my last pair of "not worth the pain" heels.... but if I haven't found "the" pair of shoes in 5 tries at the predetermined price point, I'm out the door. I don't think I've been in a mall more than once since I quit working there a few years ago. But itunes, oh I can lose myself shopping for music. So I'm back to downloading a song each week that I see a loss.

As far as what's working for me, well I'm eating more..shocker I know. I can wake up, have a cup of coffee, wash clothes, clean and work till noon without eating anything. So I'm back to eating early, packing mini meals, and eating before I'm starving. Oddly enough I am hungrier throughout the day so maybe my metabolism is kicking up a notch. I'm also eating without guilt. We even had ice cream sundaes this week and I enjoyed it.alot. You can't carve out a new life and keep the pounds off by cutting all the YUM out of it. Every time I did that to myself I gained every pound back :) By the way, So Delicious makes rockin almond milk ice cream.

Workouts are good, my mileage went up to a little over 10 miles. If my car starts cooperating I can get to the gym, but I have my badazz ballerina barre at home and it really does help with strength and core.
