Gained a little, but still

I had my weigh in at Weight Watchers last night. I was expecting a gain - and I had one. It was just a little .4, so I'm ok. I had another weekend of a "crap fest" and not tracking. Again, I'm not sure what it is about the weekends except that I'm off schedule, tired and busy.

Even though I'm not back to running, I am getting plenty of activity. I spent last Thursday prepping the yard for cutting grass (raking, etc.) I was going to go to the park on Friday, but DD#2 and friend wanted to play volleyball in the yard, so I "shagged balls" for them and we played a little. I also had a nice long walk with the dogs (which I usually do twice a day now in addition to any other activity).

Saturday DD#2 & #3 wanted to go shopping for spring clothes and bathing suits. I took them both to Kohl's in the morning and we found some cute stuff. DD#2 and I went to her friend's volleyball tournament Saturday afternoon (DD#2 doesn't play "club" volleyball because she played on the high school basketball team). After watching 2 matches, we went to the mall and shopped at JCPenney. Even though I'm not quite back at goal (still a little less than 9 lbs. to go), I'm still the same size and I found a cute bathing suit too!

We got home about 7 pm and I still wanted to cut grass because it was supposed to rain Saturday night/Sunday. DD#1 used the riding mower, DD#2 pushed the mower and I emptied the bag from the push mower. We were out there for about an hour and it was a lot of work!

It was raining Sunday morning, but turned out to be a nice afternoon. DD#2 & puppy, DD#3 & friend and my sister and I went to a different park that we usually go to and we had a nice walk.

I walked Monday afternoon with puppy while DH ran (he's already back to 3.1 miles). It was starting to get windy and chilly. A cold front blew in Monday evening and it was actually pretty cold on Tuesday (we saw brief snow flurries Tuesday night and we were under a freeze warning Wednesday morning and this morning - very unusual this late in March in N. Georgia).

Tuesday night was another one of those "stressful" evenings with 3 teenage girls! I'm mostly worried about DD#1 and her grades. As I mentioned before, she's got "senioritis" and her grades just keep getting worse. Progress report grades were "posted" Tuesday night and she now has 3 A's and 2 C's. She's never had a C for a grade and although it's not her final grade (which will affect her GPA), right now she's jeopardizing scholarship opportunities. I'm going to have DH sit down with her because I think I just nag so much about "everything" they all 3 pretty much tune me out and this is too important!

Anyway, I really felt like stress eating, but I managed to stay in control. Now if I could only do that on weekends.

My sister and I also did a pretty difficult hike last night after WW for about 40 mins., so we're sticking to our goal of walking after the meetings.

So, I had a little bump in the road, but I'm still on track. Spring break is next week and we're going to visit DH's niece and twins in Florida Wednesday & Thursday and then go to an amusement park in South Georgia on Friday & Saturday. DD#1 is going with us now (even though she might not want to after she gets read the riot act on her grades), so it will be me, DH, DD#1, DD#3 & friend. DD#2 is going to Universal Studios with another family (lucky - I really want to go to Harry Potter world!).

I won't have my weigh in or be able to go to my WW meeting on Wednesday, but I think I'll do ok. We'll be very busy and active and I won't have the "crap" readily available to snack. I'll take some healthy snacks with me and make good choices at restaurants, etc.

So, I'm not sure about my 6 week goal to loose 5 lbs. (by 4/23) and I'm not really sticking to my "activity plan", but I am staying active and I'm still on track.
