Worth Sharing

Wednesday, March 26, 2014

I have never been a millionaire, but I have enjoyed a great meal,
a crackling fire, a glorious sunset, a walk with a friend, a hug
from a child, a cup of soup, a kiss behind the ear. There are
plenty of life's tiny delights for all of us.
- Jack Anthony

This really goes along with my previous blog. I don't need a million dollars to enjoy life after waking in the mornings and choosing to call it a great day because I could and can do each one of these tiny delights. Thanks for stopping by and sharing a thought!

Being rich is having people in your life you love and who love you. That for me is a life worth living. HUGS

At our age we realize how important life's little pleasures can be. I always think how lucky I am when I see some of the senior citizens out and about with such serious issues.

I saw a quote from Jim Carrey the other day. He said, "I wish everyone could have the experience of being rich and famous so that they can see that these things are the answer for nothing." So true. Peace, happiness, and joy are not owing to external things like money.

Amen. A question was asked on another team. What would you wish for in the upcoming month of April?
I said health and wisdom. I said I don't need wealth to be happy. Many people are wealthy but unhappy.

Loved your thoughts. Sometimes we forget about all the great things in our lives when we focus on what is not going well. Thanks for the reminder to count my blessings!
