10 lbs gone and goodbye 230's?

i'm doing really well these days and realized i haven't updated in awhile. i started weight watchers at the beginning of the month. i had been avoiding it for so long due to monetary reasons. one of the biggest reasons i love sparkpeople, it's FREE! but free wasn't working for me. i have done ww in the past and lost about 40 lbs. which i obviously gained back. anyway, i figured if i wasn't going to invest in myself i wasn't going to get anywhere. and the money would probably just go to junk food and alcohol. so i bucked up and signed up for a great deal i found on a 6-month membership.
i'm doing so well! i lost 10 lbs in my first week and hope to be out of the 230s when i weigh in this weekend. i only lost .2 last week due to TOM, but that's better than the 2 lbs i usually gain.
i think the meetings are what's making the difference for me. the face-to-face interaction is keeping me in line. i'm not just answering to myself like when i was doing this all online. i guess i need more motivation and involvement to be accountable.
plus i don't have to track anything or weigh the food. i just eat off a specific list and go for it. my dream come true!
