Day 10 = Day 1....What has changed since last time

Wednesday, March 26, 2014

Hello fellow Sparkers! It's been a little while...I've decided to give this another try! Third times a charm right?? A few things have happened in my life since being on here last time. I have a new little addition, well actually she is new-ish, hahaha! She is going to be 1 in May already. Gained a few extra pounds from that pregnancy to work off still! My little guy started preschool this year, he loves it thankfully! My other daughter is getting bigger she is going to be 3 in time goes fast!

So anyway...why am I trying this again? My answer would be, because I know I can do this! A couple things that are different as far as eating habits, in the last couple months for me are, that I rarely eat bread anymore, or anything with gluten. I always thought this was a fad thing (unless you truly have gluten intolerance diseases)...until I actually tried it...I feel a million times better, so it makes me wonder if I have had something with gluten that maybe messed with my energy before.

Another thing I have done in the last month or so, is given up my absolute LOVE of coffee and traded that in for green tea. I can tell a difference with this also. After switching to tea, coffee doesn't have the same appeal to me. No more adding sugar or honey and milk to what i drink...take my tea straight up! Haha!

Finally, I am NOT LEAVING THIS SITE until I reach my goals! NO MORE QUITTING EVER!!! So just wanted to say hello to all my Spark friends new and old.....I'm looking forward to this journey and can't wait to feel the sense of accomplishment when I reach my goals! Take care everyone! emoticon emoticon

Glad you are back!! I fell by the wayside too for awhile and gained some weight back, but I have been back for about 2 months and have lost it and a bit more. I've got the last 28 pounds to go to goal... We can do this!! And yep - kids pack on the pounds and make it easy to not exercise! And I also feel better without bread/pasta etc.. I basically follow the no sugar/no flour rule and it helps tremendously. Might think about giving up coffee for green tea.... hmmm..I'll let you know how it goes! emoticon I put a turtle on here, because slow and steady really does work!
