I've "Retired"

Wednesday, March 26, 2014

As of March 31, I will be officially retired from my current employer of 32 years. I had some time to take off as well so starting today I'm done working for a while until I find my next job. I'm very ready for the change and looking forward to trying something new (not sure what that will be yet). It's a nice feeling to wake up and not have a real plan for today, although, my first "plan" for my time off is to scrub my house inside and out! It's been so neglected because my job was so busy! Even in these last days I haven't had much free time because I've been transferring my various duties to other people.

There is NO EXCUSE right now for me not to get some exercise in! I will hold myself totally responsible for that task!

    Woo HOO! I'm ALL SORTSA!

This will mark 32 years for me with my employer...but as we're a single income family there's no sign of being able to afford retirement anytime soon on my horizon...

Like you, I would have absolutely NO PROBLEM filling my days & nights with great stuff to do! :-)

Congrats and cheers to many years of wonderful times ahead!

Retirement is fun ... now find something you and your hubby and do together. My wife and I have taken up competitive table tennis. What a life!
