I have now exercised almost a week straight so I am happy about that.. It seems like I can only do one thing at a time it is either eat right and not exercise or exercise and not eat right...

How do I get them both going at the same time? I eating has been bad these days and I just can't seem to stop.

Go with eating right.....and forget *planned* exercising. And for eating right...keep it simple~~ pick lower calorie foods/lower sugar foods/lower fat foods....
Start with that and other simple things like....
if I have a potato....I will not have bread....
if I want a bigger piece of steak....I will eat more veggies and NO potato...
I know I want I will cut down on my meat portion

These all add up as time goes on and you start getting better and better at choosing wisely.

For exercising....keep it simple as well....
like...park at the furtherest end of the parking lot...not right up by the doors
take the stairs not the lift or escalator....
do some yard work or housework ( it needs done eventually anyway...LOL )

Once you do simple.....then you can start adding more to both....
Set a calorie amount you need to stick to to lose weight
Track all your foods.....
PLAN some exercise beyond the simple.....but make sure it is doing something you really love doing....or you will quit ( I go swimming 5 days per week for an hr because I LOVE being in the water ...I go Line Dancing wkly sometimes 2 x per week...because again...I LOVE it ) Those things I hardly ever miss because I am doing something I love doing.

Getting carried away here...LOL ....

    Good for you for getting your exercising in. That's great ! Keep that up. Maybe work on getting the exercise down on a regular basis... and when you are comfortable with you exercise plan, start working on your food plan. I struggle with eating well too... I'm just lazy & would rather eat . It is something that you have to plan & focus on constantly . Feel good about anything good choice you make whether eating or exercising... keep working on it . You will get there !!

    Ugh I had a day like that yesterday! Could not stop eating! All I can say is plan out your food for tomorrow, plan a lot of it, healthy but filling and stuff you like - make it easy for yourself to break the cycle and feel successful and confident.

    I don't know, but if you pick one - pick eating because that is much more effective in losing weight. . How about eat right and just be more active without a planned "exercise". I'm curious to see what people ave to say.
