Woohoo! Yippee! I'm ready for spring break. Tomorrow is full of preparations to leave for my retreat. I'm leaving my iPad at home, am resigned to tech withdrawal, but I really feel I need a break. Call it fasting from technology, if you will. At any rate, I will have my phone for checking in with husband, otherwise I'm not available.
Success this week - walked twice. I need my energy back. Today I took my whole lunch hour to walk to the Speckled Trout marina and sit in the sun for half an hour. That felt wonderful.
Another success - 250 fitness minutes trophy. It's not the 1000 one I wanted for each month of 2014, but considering how sick I've been, I think I did well to get the 250 one.
Not so good - food just went downhill this week, especially today's finale of a breakfast at work. The retreat house serves wonderful healthy food, so it'll be easy to make good choices, will have to be careful about portion size.
