I hit 10 lbs down today. It put me out of the 70's! Talk about doing a little happy dance on the scale this morning. It just made my day. At times I never thought that this would happen. It seems that I can get into a rut of what isn't working, and not see all the things that are working. If I go through my blogs, I see where I was concentrating more on what wasn't happening at times. So this averages out to about a pound a week, maybe a bit more. That is good weight loss, slow and steady to be able to maintain it.
So my goal for the next 10 lbs is to really focus on what is working, not the negative. I need to pick a weigh in day, and leave it at that. My weighing is all over the place, and I only track my weight when I see a loss... so I need to just pick a day and make that the day I log my weight whether it be good or bad. The rest of the time focus on the healthy.
My second goal for the next 10 lbs is more exercise and more water. I am going to try to add in another 30 minute run during the week, for a total of 4 days. And drink more water. The water seems to help, and I know I am not getting enough.
I am going to enjoy my weekend this weekend and start getting my garden figured out, do some cleaning, and enjoy the sunshine. I am sure that my son will be wanting to ride his back, and be outside a lot. Look out neighbors. :)
Side note: Day 4 of the 24 day challenge and doing great. Tonight I will make tacos for the family, and then use a small portion of ground beef with taco seasonings on a salad.
