1 month in & I've lost 4 pounds, 1 inch from waist, 1 inch from hips, and 1/2 inch from thighs; arms stayed the same.
Progress....slow, but progress all the same!

    Actually, it is better to lose "slowly"! A # per week is very good, and good for you to be looking at measurements as well! Good job!

    you're doing great .. remember, slow and steady wins the race .. a lb a week is the average/normal weight loss .. some people lose 2 lbs a week, but one is the norm i believe .. as cticket said above, think where you will be in 3 months, then 6 months, then 9... try not to think ''just'' in terms of longer times or you may get discouraged, but also the long term thinking is important too..

    You referred to your progress as slow, but if you continue to lose 4 lbs and an inch off your waist per month for a year, then by next spring you'll be almost 50 lbs lighter and drop several clothing sizes. You're doing great!
