Oh, my.

I honestly cannot recall the last time I was this sore from exercise.

The big ones at the moment are my abs and my butt. It aches when I cough or laugh or sit or stand or do all sorts of other things that are required for daily life.

But no pain no gain, right? OR, more specifically, no pain no loss, right?

It's the good kind of aching, really. The kind that lets me know I've been active. Not the I-need-a-chiropractor kind.

This morning I spent 30 very slow minutes on the treadmill. I think it was at 3.1 or 3.2 - a 19 minute mile. But slow and steady was what I needed. Just keep the legs going, do 30 minutes on the treadmill and another 30 stretching.

Tomorrow it's supposed to be 70 degrees, and for some insane reason, even feeling like this, I'm itching to go for a run outdoors.

What have I become?! :)

    I've grown to kind of like the soreness, it means I worked hard! I was in the same boat as you this week, abs (they're there under the belly!!) due to planks, butt due to squats... I feel ok today for the first time all week haha.

    I hate that kind of pain. You find out that after you get done exercise. Sounds like me on Tuesday when taking out the trash. My hips were killing me after that.
