Thanks, friends, for the advice. I've already taken 3 full days and two partial days off work with a weekend in between. I've finished my antibiotics, no sign of lingering infection, the sore throat and headache are long gone. It's just the cough that won't going away. It's not the deep racking sort anymore, and I'm not doing nearly as much. I'm hoping that my week's retreat coming up will give me all the time I need for rest & recovery.
And a head's up--I'm not taking my iPad, only my phone for emergencies on the retreat, so I will not be recording any Sparking till I get back. I'm disappointed that I was not able to meet my 1000 fitness min goal this month, but I think I'd still be much sicker if I'd kept pushing. I'm looking forward to a fresh start on April 3.
