Well, I have finally come to the end of cardio 1. I know it's probably considered easy and I will miss it once I experience cardio 2, BUT...how sick is it possible to get of a workout? I'm fairly sure I've reached that, and more.
I just want to say how much better I feel, and that my resting heart rate has gone from 64 bpm, even after my last workout program, to 60 bpm. I looked up what's a good rate for a woman my age, and that puts me one beat shy of athlete zone for my age and gender according the website I looked at! It is rated as excellent. This weekend, I will also measure how many pushups I can do, since I know that is one area in which I have improved. I have some issues with my core, so measuring how many crunches I can do in a minute will be a baseline number, as I have never completed that test before. Still...I do need that baseline. I think a better core test would be "can you do hollow man..." and that would be a big, fat, "No!!"
No matter what any of the results are, it doesn't even matter. I can feel every minute of every day what this program is doing for me, with both the diet and the exercise program. I love to hate Jillian or hate to love her (however you want to label it), but she certainly knows her stuff (or how to hire a staff that does.)
