I had my weigh in last night at Weight Watchers and I lost 1.8 lbs.! My goal is to be back at my goal weight by Mother's Day which is about 8 weeks away. I have 8 more lbs. to loose, so I'm on track!

The topic of the meeting last night was "Mix it Up" or how to "spark" your workout. I had joined the Live Life Active challenge (to earn a charm), so I'm still pretty motivated to exercise and get my charm!

Our leader is very motivating. She lost 215 lbs. on Weight Watchers and has mostly kept is off for over 10 years. She's been on People, CNN, Joy Fit Club, etc. It took her 3 years to loose it all, but she said she's glad it took her a while, because it allowed her to adopt the healthy lifestyle! There's also a lady at the meeting who has lost 135 lbs. She said it's taken her about 18 months. She's probably in her early 60's and it doesn't look like she has much more to loose.

So anyway, it was a motivating evening and after the meeting, my sister and I went to a nearby park and walked for 35 mins. We decided since it's still light outside and it's getting warmer, this is going to be our Wednesday goal!

I'm not sure what I'm going to do tonight. It's supposed to be my "body sculpting" day, but it's going to be a really nice evening, so I want to do something outside too. I'll probably do some yard work to prep the yard to cut grass Friday or Saturday.

DD#2 might want to run after volleyball camp (she's working at it - 5th - 8th Graders). She signed up for the Warrior Dash (doing it with a friend and her brother) and it's 4 weeks away. She should do pretty well because she's been doing a lot of conditioning, weight training, etc. and somewhat keeping up with the running. She and DH also signed up for a 5K on 4/26 that runs through a local quarry. They did this one last year and really enjoyed it. DH has been so busy working, so he started back running last week - he's already back up to 3 miles!

I really want to get back to running too - I've been mostly walking & hiking, so I'm going to have to start back slow again. DH ran last night and he saw the C25K class running (the one I did a couple of years ago and was unable to sign back up this session). He said there were a lot of people complaining about how hard it was (he could hear them because he was doing his warm-up walk where they were running).

Anyway, I'm motivated and on track!
