Complaining, ignore me

Thursday, March 20, 2014

I am on day 2 of the week again at the photo job, Yesterday I called my manager and put in my two weeks. Not a minute too soon. The woman I worked with yesterday was a joy. Everything we did wrong was my fault somehow, any reason we were slow was my doing. Ugh this new crew of ppl are no it all's. She got there 30 minutes late and I had something turned wrong and she goes "Have you even set up spring layout??" Are you serious??? Who are you? Not to mention I am back to being sore as hell. I am happy I put in my two weeks. Goodbye!!!!!! Spring season was so much better when you worked next to someone but didn't shoot with them posing. My manager said he would call me in the fall and see what I was doing. Then I went straight to the plant nursery and told them I could start on the week of 4/7. I can survive 2 weeks....I can survive 2 weeks. I got a fortune cookie last night that said "one door closes and another opens".

Wednesday was amazing, I got off work early and was driving home and got pulled over by a cop for an expired sticker. It expired when I was dealing with all the stuff with my dad. I replaced Husbands two truck stickers but completely bypassed my own. So now my sticker costs $240 dollars. Needless to say I went straight from the DMV to Dairy Queen. Don't worry I still went to the gym and lifted and did water aerobics that night.

I hope I can exercise tonight, this job kicks me down so bad. Last night when I got home at 3, I was pretty much parked on the couch cuz I hurt so bad. My mind wanted to go to Werq my body said no way. Oh and to top it off my last scheduled day is located over 2 hours away....of course.

Sounds like you are getting out just in time. I would love the garden job. I think you would be perfect for it. So rewarding to see things grow and tend to the plants and you will most likely get some cool stuff to add to your yard.

I'm always paranoid that I will let my sticker, driver's license, or insurance expire somehow so I'm always checking.

I'm miserable right now with arthritis. I am okay exercising inside but not outside. Such a pain!

Dude that blows - I'm so sorry people have been crappy to you and about getting pulled over to top it off. I'm glad you've stuck to working out with the exception of needing that night off - which is totally allowed! I skipped working out yesterday night because I can't stop coughing up a lung (UGH!) and my eating has been like crap since my days off this past weekend.

I just need a do-over. Sounds like at least there's light at the end of the tunnel with the change in jobs. No one deserves to be miserable where they work - trust me! And don't feel like a Debbie Downer when you need to vent - we've all had those kind of weeks and we're here for you!

Ugh, what a week! At least it's almost over!

Can you contest the ticket for the expired sticker by going to the office and explaining re your dad? There should be some sort of sympathetic allowances made. (I was late filing taxes one year due to DH being very ill, and IRS actually let me off with just a warning. Really, go to the office and talk to the people, it might help.)

Good for you girl! They can stick it where the sun doesn't shine!! Haha!! emoticon

I'm sure you'll be happier working closer and honestly how uptight can your new co-workers be... I'm imagining they are very zen! emoticon
