The Truth About Loose Skin

I've been concerned about my loose skin, particularly on my belly, and whether or not it will ever go away, no matter what I do, and so on. About half of the information I found said, that no, it will never go away. The other half said core strength training will fix it. I was confused, so I asked my doctor about it. She told me that the reason the information is split down the middle like that is that about 50% of people can get rid of the loose skin with core strength training. The other 50% can't, though, and the only way to know which half you fall into is to do core strength training.
Then I got hit with rather unexpected good news about the situation: if I keep up with my core strength training for 6 months, and there's no improvement in my loose skin, it is likely that my insurance will cover getting it fixed. I'm ecstatic. I never thought there was the remotest possibility that my insurance might cover that. Plus, it's new-found extra motivation to keep up with the core strength exercises.
