I didn't make it to the gym on Monday, but did do a little walking. Not gonna make it again today. For some reason my legs feel like jelly.

I think I need a couple days of doing just nothing. Sitting on my but and wasting time. Last couple weeks I've been cleaning, running errands, run here, running there and hurry up and do this, do that and just collapse.

I've been snappy and frustrated and angry. I think it's cuz I'm so stressed out right now.

But am happy for two small miracles.

We renewed our membership with the YMCA yesterday. Hubby goes 2-3 times a week for pool therapy. He needs water based physical therapy and there's a 30 minute class 3 times a week for anyone with mobility issues to do physical therapy in the heated rec pool. He loves it. It's not undoing the damage to his feet and ankles, but it is slowing down the damage.

I go 2-3 times a week when I can for workouts. I'd love to get in the pool, but swimsuits in my size cost $150ish bucks and we just can't seem to cough it up. We're trying though.

Anyway we renewed our membership to the Y. We get to keep paying $30.25 a month. A huge bargain considering it's $47 just for one adult/$65 for a family membership.

I applied for help to pay our light bill through a local charity. They can only help out once a year.

Our light bills have been running an average of $115 a month all winter thanks to how cold it has been. We're not in danger of falling behind on the light bill, but it is a huge struggle to pay it.

Well, they awarded us $238 for our light bill. They will send the check directly to the power company. That should cover us for almost the next two months. Yea! Now we can get some breathing room.

Happy Hump day everyone

Good job getting walking in! I'm taking the day off (from exercise) too because I am also just pooped. But sometimes that is what we need to do - it's all in balance.

How nice that you got assistance for the light bill! Our family has a tight budget and it's hard when unexpected costs come up or those that we normally have are increased for whatever reason. Having that bit of breathing room is nice :)

Enjoy your day.
