Day 906... Pigged out

Tuesday, March 18, 2014

Oh my, I ate too much at lunch! And most of it greasy. I am usually good about ordering at this particular restaurant, but today I craved a burger, and I couldn't keep my hands off the appetizers. And talk about sodium. Ugh! I was planning to go for a run this afternoon, but I couldn't do it. I would have gotten sick. That will teach me not to give in to those greasy cravings. It tasted good though. LOL! Now I am still full. I just had a glass of V8 juice for dinner. Something light and simple.

Lunch took two hours, and then I went grocery shopping, so I didn't have time to take my normal long walk in the afternoon, so I just took Cooper for a long walk. We walked a little over 12 miles all together. I have an appointment tomorrow afternoon, but hopefully I will have time for at least a short walk either before or after. I also have more errands to run, so I don't know if it will happen. I am going to try.

What a blessing to live life in a way that this meal was so unusual!

Eh, one day, one burger with sides. Compared to how you normally eat and exercise, shouldn't be a setback.

One slip doesn't mean you failed. It is just one slip. Tomorrow is another day.

Sometimes you just have to give in to those cravings! It keeps your body guessing and by this time next week I bet you will be down a pound or more.

I pondered a burger today and remembered how heavy I felt the last time I ate one. I ordered a salad and salmon instead. Delicious. You will feel better tomorrow.
