Progress report

Well, I have been eating really well for over a month now, and still no weight loss. I am cutting my calories further, and working on getting more exercise on the days I don't work out with my trainer. And I'm going to cut down on the fat-free cheese - it has a lot of salt in it, so maybe that's part of why I'm not losing.

I'm in a lot better shape, and certainly am eating a lot less; it would be nice to lose some weight, though. I'm about 65 pounds overweight (that is, I have to lose 65 pounds to get my BMI below 25) and my knees really feel it.

    I was eating around 1400, but have cut that to 1200 or a little less. I average about 300 calories per day in exercise, and am planning to increase that.

    How many calories are you eating. I am very sedentary so I need to keep mine near 1200 cal/day. I can and do eat more if I exercise. With that amount I am losing 5 lbs. a month. Salt can really be a problem, too. Good luck with the changes you plan on making.
