Yesterday I followed exercise tips on reps/ sets for each machine at the gym... and it worked! My arms are definitely feeling it today, and in EXACTLY the places I need them to "wake up"! It's motivating to keep going and hopefully SEE results in a couple of months.
I sent the Irish Cream Brownies with Mike to work today (I baked them on Sat, when I found the St Patty's Day recipe online) ... and it completely helped cause they were DELICIOUS and could not stay in the house. My pluses today?! I didn't eat any brownies and managed to not eat ANY dessert (avoided the bagels, muffins & donuts at work too!). It helps to start the work week off strong, so I don't sink into a binge-eating fest that lasts all week.
It's so easy to want to snack and overeat when I'm stressed (work and wedding planning!) ... but I'm trying to rationalize every bite.
So far so good... tomorrow it's gym day!
