It turns out both pups are females and the one with black on the ears actually makes a little growl when approached:
My sister Sandy thinks she didn't like the big camera coming close:
I wish I could be there to cuddle them:
Went for a short paved path walk tonight and Daisy ran to meet three big dogs one of which didn't like her charging and nipped her. Its been a while since she has got to run with dogs. The melt is happening so quick the wooded paths are mush, water filled or muddy now. But the ground is frozen very deeply -to 3 meters, so the water has no where to run off or absorb. Because of the very cold winter, we have had over 170 watermain breaks in our city, quite the record. They were actually running out of temporary water trucks and where it usually took two days to fix one, it was taking up to a week for lack of equipment and manpower.
This is finally my last week for the IV infusions. I won't know what to do with all the free time :P
My brother has got my computers humming now. All that remains is taking them to my apartment so I can load the free antiviral software that comes with my internet. Also for whatever strange reason, my GPS watch won't update on my Stepdad's internet, so I have to do that at home as well. Looks like Mom feels comfortable me walking on the paved path to the weir so I may be able to do that on my own. As soon as I am off the IV she wants to head to Prince Albert to visit my sister's ailing Mother-in-law who is in the hospital. She is really run down with a cold so I don't know if she will. She finally relented to taking some of my allergy medicine and it looks like it helped her.
I am getting reasonable sleep, usually 5-6 broken hours which is good for me. Pain is being kept at bay, but I sure feel how out of shape I am when I walk. Wish I could do more.. I see my surgeon on the 26. Will be anxious to know his plans for me.
Happy St. Patrick's Day! Eat your greens ;)
