Supportive Environment.

Monday, March 17, 2014

Being away has given me insight into what I need to do to create a supportive environment. I have to have the tools needed to do what I need to do. Just like having toothpaste and a toothbrush so I can brush my teeth.
What is it that I want to support ... a healthy sustainable lifestyle.
What does a healthy lifestyle look like to me?
That is what I need to define. What do I want my habits to be.
What do I need to support this lifestyle.

Good point! For me having that supper soup pot full is a key support when I walk in the door: simple but doable!!

And: I like your comment about choosing to remember all the good things about your mother's life even in one of those "10%" phases when life could be overwhelming and happiness seem impossible. A choice -- and probably how your mother would have chosen to be remembered.

Great question to ask yourself. I wrote them down myself. I need some clarification, mindful thinking needs to take place. Looks like being away helped you. Good luck on figuring out what you feel you want and need. You are emoticon . emoticon emoticon

Sounds like you had a lovely visit. I love how you were mindful enough to notice the changes in lifestyle in a positive way. Too many people just want everything "the same" when they visit others.
