Finally feeling better which is great! Saturday I met up with my friend Ty and we walked for 90 mins! She's the woman I know from the gym who has lost 130 lbs so far just from walking her dog. She showed me some cool places I had never been and gave me some great ideas for photo shoots. Then we walked around in this hidden neighborhood you wont even know was there with all these custom million dollar houses. Amazing what you find when you get out and walk!
Me at Ewing Manor with Patsy, one of the places we walked around.

I did 22,000 steps that day cuz I did a dance class that morning as well.

Sunday my friend finally taught her first WerQ class on her own! She did great! A lot of ppl came to the class to support her knowing it was gonna be a first time. I think only one girl was poo pooing, whatever let's see her get up and try teaching a dance class.

Then I had to rush home and take Scott to a 5k. It has been so nice lately and yesterdays high was 27. OMG it was so cold and miserable. Thank god he finished in 22 minutes. VFW starts races with a gun shot!

Spark died on me again, so I started this blog 5 hours ago and ending it much later in the day.

Sooooooo weird quinky dink! I have been really thinking about leaving the photography job. I have been applying for other jobs in my spare time. Been meaning to go to this garden shop in town that I love. I applied last fall and she followed up when I walked in on day last fall and said "her boss wont let her hire anyone else for the yr." I had been meaning to get over there and apply since I figured they were hiring for spring. I was stopped at a light on my way else ware and read their sign and it said "Do you love house plants? Apply inside!" Woah so I went in and before even asked anything the managers eyes lit and she goes "Do you need a job???" She took me to her office right away and interviewed me on the spot and asked me to let her know by Thursday if I can give my 2 week notice. Wow! I haven't even talked to my husband about this yet. Thank god the job opened is inside cuz this place is huge. They have a tree section and ornamental tree section and a green house and then a big indoor area. So yeah I donno if I could have worked there outdoors in the summer. Plus the place is close to my house so I could bike to work! I have a few days to think about this. Wont be making nearly as much but also wont have 3 month breaks and have to put so much wear and tear on my car. Not to mention the drama I've been dealing with there, she said this, OMG guess what kind of power she thinks she has!! UGH who cares? leave me out of it. So yeah that's my new exciting news!

What a great, active day! Awesome!

Have you ever considered teaching classes or starting your own little personal training sessions at home? I was just talking to my sister and she goes to her neighbor's house and has sessions there. Also I know people who have started Crossfit-type gyms in their garage...not sure what kind of certification is required...but might be a great idea for you?

So will the job at the garden place be seasonal or full time?

What a great neighborhood! I hate my town, it is so could tour drug houses, maybe.

YAY, that sounds like a much better job option - just think of all the muscles you'll build schlepping trees around!!!!

I love that tudor house! My first hubby and I had plans to build one when we got a divorce. I worked as an interior decorator before I became a nurse and my dad designed houses so dad and I designed ours. Ours was an English Tavern and really cute. Not huge like that one. My ex had the balls to ask me for the plans when he remarried. LOL. I told him that his wife should have her own taste. He was such a freak. He would call me and say things like, "My other wife...." and I would stop him and say, "I am not your wife. We are divorced." Some people are so weird. He tried to build a house that looked like it and it wasn't even close. It was ugly.

I love that picture of Patsy. She is so adorable. You look like an English baronesses with her fox hound in front of that house. LOL

I can't believe how rude some people are. What is wrong with that woman who was making fun of your friend?! What a "B"!

Poor Scott! It was freezing Sunday. We were outside working some. Didn't enjoy it after the 70s the day before.

I think it would be cool to have a gardening job. I love plants.

I thought about you today. I decided to make some Irish Soda bread after not having made any bread for years. OMG. What a mess!! I had trouble getting it to the right consistency and it is as ugly as sin. It smells good and tastes good and my hubby will love it but I'm sure he will notice right away that it is nothing like his efforts. it's a blob. I tried. LOL.
