I have worked hard on weight loss.
I began nearly 2 years ago: I began by eating a 1600 calorie diet. I also began exercising a little.... beginning with 30 minutes at the gym. I worked my way up from burning off 200 calories to 1700 calories daily.
What I have learned to date is that, yes; I certainly can go to the gym every morning and burn off that 1700 calories but some days, it was like TORTURE! I also didn't feel good physically. I'm still working on that!
However, I was eating only 1200 calories and burning off 1700 -- I felt STARVED! That's when I would binge-eat. So for months, the scale has been up and down, depending on what I would binge-eat on!
I have amended my diet and exercise program. I have begun to strength-train and am today, only burning off 500 calories while eating 1700 calories daily. I don't know how this is all going to work out?
What is interesting is that there are so many diet plans out there that I am simply CONFUSED as of what to do. And my doctor? Is of absolutely NO HELP! I also have discovered that doctors do not have the training in diet and how it affects how I might feel physically. Something is wrong with that!
In any case, it has left me searching for answers ......
