Another Snowy Day in NJ--So What Else is New?
Monday, March 17, 2014
Yes, we woke up to about 3-4 inches of snow yet again, and here it is March 17. Oh, Happy St. Patrick's Day, everyone!
DH's favorite meal for this day is of course corned beef and cabbage. I thought we could go out for it but alas it doesn't look too favorable with this weather. I, as a "pesco" vegetarian, do not eat the meat but love the carrots, cabbage and boiled potatoes that go with it. So wilt try to get to the store today to buy the fixins.
We entertained daughter and family over the weekend. Courtney (granddaughter) did not come as she apparently had "previous engagements." After all, she is in college and allowed to live her own life! Anyhow, Pam (daughter) and I were free to go off shopping on our own, and that we did, at the Cherry Hill Mall, which has just about everything you'd want in terms of clothes. Hit Banana Republic and Nordstrom's, along with a few short visits to some other small shops.
She got a bunch of new clothes for work and Courtney's upcoming graduation. I got a sparkly blue dress that I fell in love with for our upcoming cruise. They did not have it in my size but it is ordered and will be delivered.
On a Spark note, I tried to delete my "goal weight" info as I'm only two pounds away and
I keep fluctuating a couple of pounds but never reaching that goal--it's not really that important anyway--but the system won't allow me to delete. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd appreciate hearing them.
Well, I'm off to the shower and another cabin fever day!
