So as some of you may know I work at a gym. I am the group fitness manager as well as an instructor. And though I teach quite a bit I am still hanging on to about 15pounds that just won't shake lose. So our trainers at work are hosting a 10 week challenge. There are 3 teams each headed up by a different trainer. You can sign up to do Group Training sessions, Personal one on one sessions or both. I am signed on to just do Group Trainings..although with my teaching schedule I won't make them all I still chose to sign up and be a part of a team for support..for me and also to offer it to them. Unfortunately so many of the things offered I will not be able to do as I teach at a couple of other gyms too but I felt for the price ( a mere $50 for the 10 weeks) was worth it just to gain whatever motivation and support I could. Today was only day one and I am already feeling the boost. I won't be able to win the challenge as I can't earn points for my classes taught..or for the classes at other gyms, or for running...and I can't participate in the teams special events outside the gym every 2 weeks as I teach at the same time they are offered...I am very bummed out by this as that was part of the reason I joined, but I have decided even though I can not make the outdoor excursions I will still do them with my hubby on the same day as the teams..it won't be the same but it will keep me going I think.
Anyway my goal is to lose the weight and to tone up my arms..I hold a lot of weight in my belly and thighs and I really need that gone...
Here is to hoping this challenge will finally get me to my goal!
