Sunday, March 16, 2014

Crustless Apple Pie! Simply sauté a diced Granny Smith apple in a nonstick pan with 1/4 tsp cinnamon, 2 tsp sugar, and 1/2 tsp vanilla until just softened (about 5 mins). Plate with a squirt of whipped cream and 1 tsp chopped walnuts. Just 175 cals…what a deal!

I do this in the microwave; I use whatever apples I have and instead of walnuts use a low fat, low sugar granola and in place of whipped cream, I put it in a bowl with a tablespoon or two of fat-free half & half or soy milk creamer.
Ok, it's now not really the same thing, but I think of it as my low-cal cobbler! emoticon
